Ninjas in Pyjamas part ways with Adam "friberg" Friberg

Ninjas in Pyjamas have officially released Adam "friberg" Friberg from the organisation.

Following a conversation between Adam "friberg" Friberg with Ninjas in Pyjamas, the organisation has agreed to release the Swedish CS pro from his contract, meaning he is a free agent effective immediately. The twenty-five year old has been part of the Ninjas in Pyjamas CS:GO starting roster ever since it's conception in August 12'. Since then the team has seen various ups and downs, peaks and valleys, with their legendary 87-0 win/loss record going down in Counter-Strike history books.

Friberg expressed the following in a Twitlonger statement:

After talking with NiP they have agreed to release me from my contract and put me out as a free agent for the coming season. After being part of the organisation since it's rebirth in 2012 it will be strange to not represent them while playing, both the organisation and players will still have a big place in my heart.

Looking results during the five years with Ninjas in Pyjamas, friberg participated at eleven major tournaments, one of which he and his team were able to secure first place in, namely ESL One: Cologne 2014 back when Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson was still part of the organisation. The major victory was preceded by an incredibly dominant stint from the Swedes, where they consistently secured top placements at large tournaments.

As for the future of the Swede, he has expressed on many an occasion the will to keep competing at the top level of CS:GO. To quote - "I still feel the hunger and will to keep on playing CSGO at the top level, put in those extra hours to be able to lift a trophy again." Hopefully we will see the King of Banana back in action in a future not so far away.
