New Yurukill Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Its Story and Characters

There’s yet another trailer looking at Yurukill gameplay and characters, though this time the focus is on its story. The title is a hybrid of sorts. People will go through an escape game adventure with puzzles during one portion of it. In another, they’ll take part in shoot’em ups to survive. There are also some visual novel elements. The newest video looks at what it’s like when you’re attempting to endure interrogations, get out of rooms, and learn more about what’s going on.

Things kick off with Binko, one of the Yurukill characters, setting the stage. After that, the different groups and their crimes are mentioned. In each case, accused Prisoners are paired up with Executioners. After everyone is introduced, we see more of the Yurukill gameplay and its story segments. In the example, there’s a burning apartment to escape from. That leads into the interrogation. After that, we see Sengoku take flight for a shoot’em up section.

The last video for the game focused more on characters and more general gameplay.

Yurukill: The Calumniation Games will launch in Japan on May 26, 2022 on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5. It will come to North America on July 5, 2022. Finally, it will debut in Australia and Europe on July 8, 2022.
